Adult and Child ADHD Assessments
At our clinic, we provide comprehensive ADHD assessments for both adults and children. These evaluations are designed to offer clarity, support, and individualized recommendations for those experiencing challenges related to attention, organization, and impulse control.
What to Expect
An ADHD assessment is a multi-step process that includes:
Clinical interview – 1 hour
Standardized psychological testing – 3 hours
Scoring, background review, and report writing – 4 hours
Feedback session to discuss results and recommendations – 1 hour
The base rate for an ADHD assessment is $1,980, billed in alignment with scheduled sessions ($220/hr)..
In some cases, especially when multiple or more complex concerns are being explored (e.g., ADHD and a potential mental health disorder), additional time may be required for testing or report preparation. If this applies to your situation, we’ll discuss this as early as possible in the process to ensure transparency around time and cost.
Please note: While this assessment includes a thorough exploration of attentional and behavioral functioning, it does not include formal testing of academic abilities. If you are concerned about potential learning challenges in addition to ADHD, a Psychoeducational Assessment may be more appropriate.
Child and Teen ADHD Assessments
We typically begin ADHD assessments for children aged 6 and older. At this age, developmental differences become clearer, allowing for more accurate and meaningful evaluation.
By age 6:
Attention and behavior can be more reliably compared to age norms
Teachers often provide valuable insight into functioning at school
The tools we use to assess ADHD are more valid and reliable
If you're concerned about a younger child, we’re still happy to meet with you to explore early signs and provide support or guidance.
Adult ADHD Assessments
Our adult ADHD assessments explore your unique history and current functioning. We use evidence-based tools and clinical judgment to support a clear and accurate diagnosis.
We take a collaborative and compassionate approach, ensuring that you feel supported throughout the process. The insights gained can help guide next steps in your personal life, work, education, and relationships.
