Breanne Huhn (she/her) M.C.

Breanne Huhn (she/her) is a Registered Psychologist in the province of Alberta. She provides services to adults and youth aged 11 and older, offering individual, couples, and family counselling. Breanne has spent five years working in the not-for-profit mental health sector across school and community-based settings, supporting youth and young adults from diverse backgrounds — including those who have experienced domestic violence. She has facilitated workshops with junior and senior high school students on building healthy relationships and has worked with older adults in community settings.

Breanne holds a Master's degree in Counselling Psychology and has received training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR), and Response-Based Practice.

She takes an eclectic approach, drawing from a range of therapeutic modalities including ACT, EFT, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), and Narrative Therapy. Breanne approaches each client with humility and curiosity, meeting people where they are through a trauma-informed, holistic lens. She believes therapy is a collaborative and relational process — one that builds on the strengths and resilience we all carry, while honouring the role that lived experiences, intersectional identities, and systemic barriers play in our overall well-being.

In her free time, Breanne loves spending time outdoors — hiking, camping, paddleboarding, and wandering Calgary's beautiful network of trails. She also enjoys painting, drawing, creative writing, and getting lost in a good book or TV series.
